Mauricio holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Salvadoran university, José Simeón Cañas (UCA), and a Master’s Degree in Management and Promotion of Local Development (University of Valencia, Spain). He has 12 years of experience in teaching, development of social projects and social research. He is currently the director of the Protection program and has been defending the victims of forced displacement and people in need of protection at Cristosal El Salvador for seven years. “Cristosal has been and continues to be my school of human rights”.
