Beth McFadyen leverages her education and experience in international development, human security, board leadership, and organization development to serve the nonprofit community. She consults locally and remotely with nonprofit organizations seeking to build infrastructure within their board of directors framework.
 
In addition to serving as Cristosal’s Governance Officer, Beth serves on the Alumni Advisory Group for the Leir Institute for Migration & Human Security at Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. She is the former Board President of Natün Guatemala and the founder of their Sustainers Circle, a community of donors committed to long-term, unrestricted giving. Beth’s consulting practice focuses on building, nurturing, and strengthening nonprofit boards of directors so that they are better equipped and motivated to amplify their organization’s mission.
 
Beth is a graduate of Tufts University with a Master of Arts in Humanitarian Assistance. Additionally, Beth holds a Master of Science degree in Organization Development and Training from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts.
