Audrey Denney grew up on a cattle ranch and vineyard on the central coast of California. Her love for people, agriculture, and the world has led her down a unique career path.
Audrey lived in El Salvador and Ghana working in agricultural development and human rights. She taught agriculture at the university level for six years and consulted for agricultural companies and organizations in the private sector for eight years.
In 2018 and 2020 Audrey ran for the United States House of Representatives in CA-1, a remote, rural district in northern California. She inspired a vibrant grassroots movement that energized constituents to believe they could make a difference and gave them outlets for change.
She now works in the alternative energy space, focused on mitigating climate change through innovative technology and land management. Audrey’s passion is ensuring that the agricultural and natural resource sectors are at the forefront of turning back the dial on climate change.
She lives in Chico, California with her two cats Harper Eleanor and Nash.
